On Friday 1st of June 2001, at approximately 1.30pm, four youths aged about 10 years
old, (according to eye witness), threw rocks at a Dublin Bus. This happened on the long
stretch of road between, Eurospar and the roundabout at Willsbrook/St. Andrew's.
One of the rocks went through an upstairs window, and hit a passenger on the side of the
head. This passenger was then rushed to Blanchardstown Hospital via ambulance. Luckily,
nobody was killed or very badly injured in this incident. Had a child on the bus, been hit by
the rock it could have been a lot worse!
Why weren't these
children in school? Whose children were they?
Please tell your children about the
potential dangers, and injuries that can be caused by
stupid and irresponsible acts like these, and explain to them that
its not actually
a funny or cool thing to do!!! |
